I have a beer tray with the name "Monroe Brewing Company" Rochester NY. Havn't been able to find any information as to when they were in business in Rochester. thanks

I have these two items, both are pre-WWI. The bottle was found in a trash midden in the backyard of a house that was built in 1915, so it predates that year. The homeowner who found the bottle thinks the trash heap was from the workers cabin in the Crosman I'm not sure that either of these brewing concerns hung on until Prohibition. So you are looking at a likely vintage for your tray of 1890-1910 or thereabouts.
