I am new to the forum and I found it interesting that Rochacha and I are the only ones who have actually been to the beach area recently. So I scrolled back to the first post and found that the picture was not from Charlotte Beach but from SuperStock.com, a photograph provider.

People get an awful lot of second hand or speculative information these days. And the propagandized stuff on TV is so blatant it is laughable. The History Channel and Planet Green are doing all the things the Madison Avenue ad men were attacked for in the 1950's and 1960's.

A forum such as this should be close enough to the physical area of the topic so first hand observations could be made.

Rochacha, ain't reality grand.

I was at Charlotte around the 4th of July, the water was foul.

I'm still somewhat new to the city. Can you bring your dog up there? We usually let ours swim in Irondequoit Bay.
