Family of five with small kids in school. We are relocatiing to rochester due to company transfer. Looking east of the city , good schools and price range of a h ouse 4 bedrooms and 2 baths around 200k.
Any ideas on g ood areas for that?

This thread may help you out, suburbs east of the city. I live on the cities east side now, but if I had a kid I would be more inclined to live in a suburb for the better schools. You should have no trouble finding a house that fits that price range, just be careful of the taxes, they can vary widely. Ontario county may not be a bad place either, but it is very rural. Driving from the east side usually isn't too bad, the 490/590 interchange can get backed up during rush hour, but is usually a breeze.

This is great advice... I fully agree. The towns of Webster, Fairport, and Victor are worth a look as well.
