Garmin, do you know if they do slices there? I'm always hesitant about just ordering from a place without knowing if I like it first.

hmmmm I don't think they do. They seem to like to have everything fresh as possible so I don't think they have any pizza sitting around for slices.

Main Street in Brockport is very good as well- I would put it in the same league as Joes and maybe Cams.

I agree with Brandanis being the best Rochester style pizza.
IMO, Main Street in Brockport is the best NYC slices around. The original owner was actually from Brooklyn and sold the restaurant along with recipes and instruction on how to make the pizza to the current owners when he moved back.

Nick's deli in Chili has excellent white pizza. Guida's in very good "Rochester" style.

Domino's...Are you serious??? Love Chester Cab on Park Ave. and Great Northern Pizza but pretty much any independent is good. I dont like the chains. I support the local Rochester businesses that work so hard to gain and keep our business.

rochacha I never get out to Brockport but maybe I'll try Main Street when I finish my finals and I'm just kicking around for a few days.

Tried Chester Cab a couple of months ago. It was well made pizza, but it wasn't my style. The sauce was kinda way too sweet. I prefer really cheesy pizza where you don't notice the sauce that much.

Man, just mention pizza in Rochester....

I have to try some of the NY styles mentioned here. The last good NY pizza I had in Rochester was that place in the Midtown Plaza food court, believe it or not.

And Salvatores....every year or so I go back there and it's never good.

Here here! Great Northern is awesome! They have a terrific menu, and the prices are reasonable.
