Moving from Socal and just bought my first home in Fairport, Yes! But... the mechanics are old (ie. 20 year A/C, furnace, humidifier, Water heater). I would like to replace them even though according the the home inspectors they are still functioning. I have been looking at "home systems" that include the A/C, furnace and air purifier.

Does anyone have any experience with these systems?
Or is it better to buy the components individually?

Currently I'm leaning towards the Lennox and Bryant brands, good?

Also any Heating/Cooling Contractor recommendations?

Thanks in advance

Trane is also a good brand.

I'd replace them all at once. See if NY offers some form or another of tax incentive, too.

Far as contractors are concerned I'm not 100% sure who to call. Ask around once you get to Fairport. There are plenty of reputable ones you could get multiple quotes from.
