I can show you a few stations that have a tax free pump out back for tractors. It may be several miles back to the storage tanks on the farm, but they're working a field here right next to town, so it's much handier. You see the large 'field tanks' in the backs of pickups getting filled there, too, sometimes.
I think the tax thing depends on what state you're in, and how much recordkeeping the station wants to do.

Farmers in my area aren't dunb enough to pay the State gasoline tax in town when they aren't required to if it's delivered to the farm.

Are you really this racist? I live in a small town of 1200 people, we have families of every race you run into in a bigger city, just not as many (like there isn't that many of us white bread folks either.) We also have different cultures within the overall population as well, like Amish, Mennonite, Jewish, Wiccan, etc.... It has been the same in EVERY small town I have lived in as well.
