And prices at that Walmart run 10-20% higher than they do at Walmarts in the Big City. (Hate how the lack of competition in small towns makes it more expensive than shopping in the suburbs)
My cousin moved from a really small town to a "city" with 1,800 people and started having problems with her car. She thought the mechanic was crazy when he asked her what color it was. Turns out, he'd seen her drive by the shop every day and thought he might know what was wrong based on the sounds it made and just wanted to know if it was the same car or not.
At the end of voting on Tuesday, there was a tie. The winner will be decided by a coin flip. City folks would never resolve such an issue so quickly and inexpensively.
Most election laws do have a provision for a coin flip or other random decisionmaker in the event of a tie. You're just much more likely to see it happen in a voter base of 600 than in a location with 60,000 registered voters.

Our town is very small, and we have a Super Wal Mart. It has a buggy hitch out front, and you have to watch where you walk in the parking lot. We have a lot of Amish here.
Also, the law firm where I work gets a lot of Amish clients, and sometimes that mysterious brown substance on the carpet isn't mud.
