Is there any town in Usa that maybe stuck in time like 50s,60s ? (coyotes, wild)

I guess my 'strata' is from the "Twilight Zone"... many of us still drive our dependable 50's pickups and wear clothes we made while in 4-H (during the 1950's and 60's). Fortunately we had "Frostline kits" and Camp 7 (which I am wearing today (and warm in 80 mph freezing rain) ).

I still am daily using a washing machine from the 1950's, no problem, TONS of diapers have been through it. My mixer, waffle maker (1918), toaster, juke box (1938) and many other items are older than I am. We get along fine together. I left my TV behind in 1968, so no problem there. The majority of my furniture was delivered by covered wagon. I have my grandparents wedding gift bedroom set circa 1918. It still sleeps fine, and is among my 'modern stuff'. I build what I need from forest wood I harvest and cut myself. (so do most my neighbors)

Of course not everything is as OLD as I am... my solar (26 yrs) and LED lights are 'new'. Bio Diesel burner and brewer for only 40 yrs...

but still on 'dial-up' cuz I am a USA rural dweller in a restricted zone (no more building allowed, no satellite dishes, no cell towers. no DSL, no Cable, no broadband.)


I get lots better rural connectivity when living in NZ, AU, and Thailand.

so.... it is likely that the USA will soon resemble Cuba (1950's cars are the 'new thing')

I am in the process of creating exactly what you're talking about! There's a small town called Morganza, Louisiana that still has a full service gas station, a sheriff that walks around, a cafe and everything is in walking distance. Currently working on building a drive-in and reopening the general store, antique store and ice cream shop that was open in the 40's.

Much of western Montana and Wyoming is stuck in the 50s and 60s. The 1850s and 1860s.
