You must not have run it through the gizmo at the site, Granny. Because I plugged in your town and got 78,000... But then, a 100 mile radius gets you almost up to Pierre.

For my location, it's almost 150,000. I'll admit, I'm really surprised it's that high. (Then again, I'm also surprised Granny's is as high as IT is, too!) I would have figured half that number for my area, actually.
But, 100 miles to the west and you're starting to get into the crowd in the Front Range...

Well, in forty miles, there's about 75,000 people. In 100 miles we have 263,000 since we picked up everyone on our island and added almost all of Maui. If it was just our island, then it would be around 150,000. If the 100 mile circle is centered on Oahu (where Honolulu is) then you get 941,000.

If you make that circle about 2,000 miles wide then the number is about 1,200,000 people.

Within one mile of the farm are 45 people comprising 14 households. I like that density. Within 100 miles? Over 6 million, since it includes Chicago, Indianapolis, and several smaller cities.

Wow.
I thought we were crowded... lol

There are 6 of us in our one mile radius. Our household, with 4, and the neighbors 3/4 of a mile up the road with 2.
