Why isn't it believable to you that cops do not have your best interest in mind. They look out only for themselves, other pigs, and whatever municpality they work for.

Cops would rather put you in jail than help you. If they arent going to haul someone in for it, they aren't going to help you.

yup its very true in my town. By doing so the state makes a LOT of money by sending you to probation and classes and charging $$$ . Its a VERY BIG racket in N. NV in Carson City the state capital. Also some of the more smaller towns. Fact if the town has a bar/brothel... you will be stopped regardless when you leave and they assume you are drinking.....all the brothels post signs to let patrons know .

i believe a cop gets a collar or someting for every arrest.... aka brownie points... more brownie points he gets the chances of him of getting promoted faster.

I guess I don't mind sitting as jail as much if a cop gets a promotion for it.

I'm glad that at my job, I get respect from average ordinary people I see on the street instead of other cops and lawyers and and related fields.

You're wrong again, you're the embarassment. Did you realize we have a point?

You must be a cop yourself, since you're right, and anyone elses point is invalid. Typical cop attitude.

Being such a paranoiac, I've even stopped riding my bike to a bar, having met someone who got a DUI on a bicycle. If there were a device I could take with me, which warned me when I was approaching the .06 or .07 alcohol level, I'd go more often.

And the rare times I've taken the risk to go to a bar and have one beer, I drive home safer than if I were sober, or if I had merely had a Pepsi. Why?
Being such a paranoiac, frightened stiff of getting a DUI, I'm more vigilant in my driving, more exceedingly careful than if I drove sober.

Sober, I relax more, can afford to be more careless, as I know if I'm in an accident, or stopped for a missing headlight, at least I'll pass the breath test.

And I'm sure there are others, who drive safer after they've been drinking for the same reasons.

I can see now why so many people vacation in my city, Las Vegas, as I see them walking between the casino hotels, with a drink or beer in their hands, which is permitted here, no risks whatsoever in getting stopped by the police.

You can get portable breathalyzers. They're glass tubes like a straw that change colors indicating your BAC.
