The south is poor because it was built on free and VERY LOW WAGES so you have this problem today with the Right to Work laws....think about it. All the RTW states are slave states.
I live twelve miles south of Boston & would love to visit MB SC but I could never live there - no hospitals, schools, high crime & overall sh#tty place to live. Cape Cod is very nice too.....and cleaner.
Higher wages and you have a better lifestyle......bottom line.
Oahu is great place to live as well. So Hawaii or Massachusetts.....
