2 things I am going to say. First, the pictures are absolutely beautiful and I get more enjoyment out of these than you all will ever know. Second, is it okay to use some as desktop backgrounds, that is the only use ? I sit at a computer 12-14 hours a day and these pictures give me much pleasure and a sense of serenity. I appreciate being able to see them.

Oops, a third statement. The pictures that are no longer viewable because the account has been deleted or whatever, is there no way to get rid of them ? I have scrolled through a few pages that say they are "no longer viewable on photobucket" or whatever...would clean up the thread.

I just found this forum, have been perusing the areas that interest me .. rural life is definitely one of them... ... so sharing some pics of our farm seems like a good way to introduce myself.

Thanks for the welcome. Sorry so late in responding. We have experienced an earthquake, a hurricane and a flood recently. (Managed to get our county fair in between them~!) Fortunately, none of them effected me or my family personally, but a lot of the folks in the region are suffering.

"Rural living" is a stage for all my activities, including gardening, horses, dogs, chickens, ducks, etc. This year I've been able to enjoy a little less stressful living now that my kids are grown, married and on their own. I've been revisiting my crafts, DIY remodeling projects, and the company our local friends and family.
