Beautiful pics. What does it look like under the snow, tho? What are the winters like there?

I just care about big cities like NY, Chicago or Houston and I forget how the rest of the US is beautiful. Clumsy me.

Canine Castle, I had no idea Texas was so beautiful!

Would you mind telling me where about that 5th photo from the top was taken? Also the two very bottom photos!

Those pictures are amazing!

The 5th photo from the top was taken some place in the Central Texas Hill Country around Austin.

The next to the last one was taken at Lake Whitney about 45 miles north of Waco.

The bottom one with the fall foliage was taken at Lost Maples States Park in the Central Texas Hill Country. The park is located west of San Antonio.

I didn't take all of the photos; some I found on the internet as I don't have a whole lot of photos of places I've visited. I must get better about that.

Most people think Texas is barren and flat with tumbleweeds and cacti and a lot of it is but as you can see, there are many lovely places to see in the state as well and I guess I kind of wanted people to know that.

P.S. I loved your Wisconsin photos. This country of ours really does have some amazing scenery.
