Yeah, I think you are right. Drunk chickens might not be such a good idea...

Geese, on the other hand....

...No. Scratch that. WAY too dangerous.

What vivid imagination? You mean you don't see life this way? How boring.

I have not had to try this remedy yet for removing ticks, but a friend of mine sent it to me. She says to completely cover the tick with liquid soap; just saturate it. Then gently rub with a cotton ball to remove. The tick should stick to the cotton ball. Supposedly, this really works and is not as scary as the match thing. If anyone tries it and it works, please share!

The worse ticks I ever saw were in arkansas at fort Chafee. They liteally wre like ants on the ground there. WE used sulfur powder on our boots to keep them off. Sure glad I was only there about three weeks.

Lyme ticks are the worst. I am from mid-state NY near the CT boarder. There is a large deer population in that area. There are at least 7 out of every 10 people I know that have had Lyme disease over the past few years. It can be treated but sometimes you can have it for years and not know that is your problem. I feel it should be a part of everyone's yearly physical to get tested. Luckly, I have moved from that area and am in the state of Mass and at 2100 ft elevation, we do not have a large deer population and there are not Lyme ticks that I know of. We have been thrashing around in the woods and high grasses for years and have not once had a tick on us. When we do go back home to visit, we use 100% deet on ankles and shoes.
