Now this is the town of Catskill not in Catskill Park (close) or the Catskill Mountains proper. I have never heard and I have searched on the Interweb and asked around, but it would seem to me that the Catskills and the Town of Catskill would not be rural enough to support a Bigfoot population. Even way in the boonies I just can't see it. Too many people.
Now I am in between in my thoughts of the existence of Bigfoot, or the Yeti, Sasquatch, etc. While my wife will tell you that any time a show about Bigfoot is on well I can't help myself.
I would like to believe it, but unfortunately once it is proven that is probably the end of ol' Mr Bigfoot.
Please share your Bigfoot encounters and comments about the phenomenon that is:
This may be a little off topic, but when I was little(early 90's) my mom showed me the movie "Harry and the Hendersens" I loved that movie. That's how I came to find out what bigfoot was etc.

Well yes off topic no problem. Harry was actually a real Bigfoot and is now retired in the Hollywood hills. I know there are people here who have had real encounters....
Hey, we have Bigfoot out here in Ohio, he's about 25 miles up the road from me in Salt Fork State Park just outside of Cambridge,Ohio... there was a big article in the local newspaper about the show, I believe it was on the History Channel or the Discovery Channel, one of those two just recently, he was known as the Ohio grassman, but he's still Bigfoot......

I just watched Monsterquest about the Ohio Grassman! I would LOVE to hear stories about peeps that have seen either animal.

While I personally have no stories of encountering Bigfoot - in the 1970's, my parents both saw what they believed to be a (?) bigfoot in the town of Milan (south of Catskill). He was walking along the road and when he saw the car coming, headed off into a wooded area - my parents were both kinda "freaked out" by it and agree not to talk about it to anyone - never said a word to us until my Mom mentioned it to me a few months ago......
