WASHINGTON -- Talk about animal magnetism, cows seem to have a built-in compass.

Somehow, cattle seem to know how to find north and south, say researchers who studied satellite photos of thousands of cows around the world.

I would take a wild guess and take this to be a government grant.

And somebody with too much time on their hands also could find this out with 15 minutes of "research" asking a few farmers or farm kids a couple of questions.
