I would rather take my chances with the law defending myself rather than take rabie shots after the dog proved he meant to attack me.

Well, you've been forewarned. Don't say you haven't, when you beat a dog with a baseball bat that wasn't attacking, and then "deal with" the owner, and you end up in jail as a menace to society.

However, anyone reading the entire thread can see that there have been many ways that have been recommended by dog owners for defending oneself from perceived threat that don't involve beating with a baseball bat or any other club. That was the actual problem here - not defending oneself from a dog, but doing it in that particularly violent method by someone whose clear prejudice and anger issues are likely to lead them to act first and ask questions later.

-----"a menace to society----is exactly what dog owners are when they allow their dogs to intimidate people on public roads.

It is disgusting watching( Judge Joe Brown ) the owners of dogs that have bitten people defending their "precious dogs" and stating-------"the bite wasn't that bad"---"he never bit me "----------( despite the fact there are other witnesses who have been bitten )

If you think the guns are stolen maybe you should think about turning them into the police so they can hopefully get back too the rightful owners. Little doubt, they were reported stolen along with the serial numbers. But are you sure you are not the one that stoled them from the trespassers? Trespassing is illegal but not near as serious as theft at gun point.

Oh, they were GLAD to drop their rifles and leave. Hubby had a cell phone, he gave them a choice. No serial numbers were on them.

Then the trespassers should have reported it. They could have used our cell phone....

What isn't real about Judge Joe Brown?

Heck, you and those tresspassers could have been on the show if you wanted to.

Yup, they give real names on the show-( not names like Driller 1 or TexasHorseLady)

Not at all. At the time I thought all the information was unnecessary and was going off topic.
