I'm trying to write a novel where the characters live in a heavily wooded town on the west coast. This town has:

1. At least two high schools

2. At the very least 20,000 people but it would be better if there were 30-40 thousand.

3. IT CAN'T BE IN WASHINGTON!

4. Obviously a town that sometimes mingles with the woods.

5. A lot of families.

6. It has to snow there but it can also have regular seasons.

7. A hospital, food market, restaurants, stores, maybe a mall?

8. I like the state Oregon (hint)

If you know of a place like this can you please tell me?? It would make me very happy!

I would suggest Oakhurst, CA but it may fall a few thousand short on your population requirement. Nice mountain town.
