No, I'm just curious if everyone here hates cities or if they just prefer small towns.

I enjoy taking day trips to larger cities once in awhile to add some spice and variety to my life...Of course I have to be in the mood to deal with heavy traffic and crowds..

Hate going there for shopping because I hate cities and shopping.

We do enjoy going to see a particular show or concert, exhibit at a museum or gallery or some such, but as I get older, I care less and less. In fact, many of the shows now I wouldn't walk across the street to see if it was free. Yes, I'm getting that old and cranky and finding less and less original.

But to go just to shop and eat? No.

I am not big on shopping either but I do enjoy trying a new restaurant once in awhile..I don't have to drive all the way to big cities to try a new restaurant...Restaurants or cafes in nearby small towns are fine too.

How big are we talking?

No I don't like going to big cities. One I don't like shopping and two I can cook better meals than most restaurants and I know what kind of food I'm getting.
