I will be needing some build outs constructed in my new office (walls, electricity, possibly plumbing) in the next few months. So I am looking for a contractor who is reasonable and works with small businesses. I am on a pretty tight budget.

I was wondering does anyone have any ideas about how to look for a good contractor?

First, make sure the contractor you pick is licensed and more importantly, insured. Ask to see proof. This is so important if anything goes wrong.

Greg Weiner of Weiner Construction has done a lot of work for us remodeling. I have been very happy with his cost and quality of work. He is out in El Dorado Hills and stays busy enough that I'm not sure he would go very far for a job. Not sure where you are but if you are out this way, I would contact him.
