You could try The Buzz:
The Buzz - Midtown - Sacramento, CA
Just don't go if you are thin-skinned--apparently verbally abusing customers is something of a tradition there, and a rite of passage.
A couple more in East Sac:

Eddy's Deluxe - Sacramento, CA
Johnny's is near the relocated Italian neighborhood, I would expect a bunch of old Italian guys there.
