From what Ive seen, Sacramento is looked upon as being very mall, having no nightlife, having a small skyline, and that it shouldn't be the capital of CALI..I love SAC and have been here all my life, but where is the love?? And what are SAC's next big moves? When will it live up to its rep.???

I have no idea what you are talking about - I lived AND LOVED Sacramento for 10 years

I lived in Midtown and it had JUST the right amount of night life, and art community and resturants, and right over the water was the Rivercats. Then I had children and there was the zoo and fairytale town and the railroad museum...so much to do!

I loved it - I loved the weather - I miss it with my whole body and soul. MOving was the dumbest thing I've ever done.

City Girl--But for the next several weeks you can feel good to be in the PNW. We're going to be over 100 degrees on the 4th and 106 on Thursday.

Kings--I think the only one who still calls Sacramento small is Phil Jackson. If you take into account the outlying areas, Sacramento is between one to two million. Hardly small. Sacramento is bigger than most states' largest city. Both Elk Grove and Roseville have grown more than 10 times in the last 20 years. The only night life we have in Shingle Springs are coyotes, but I hear there are lots of clubs and restaurants in Sacramento. PERs just bought the land at 6th and L and will be putting in another large building. There have been at least 8 large State and private buildings that have gone up in downtown Sac in the last 5 years.
