I noticed they've put up the sign and have Yellowpage listings already, but does anyone know when the theater will be open for business? I'm very excited because we've always had to drive out to El Dorado Hills or Sacramento for any IMAX screenings and this is a warm welcome for the area considering the recent Galleria Mall fire.

Looks like they initially wanted end of Summer 2010, but have moved the date to some time this month. That might be pushing it though as I don't think that they are ready just yet.

The theater has been open almost a month now and we finally caught Tron in digital 3D this weekend. The theater layout is great and very cozy. The picture is crystal clear and the sound system is also fantastic. It is definitely one of the best theaters I have attended (and coming from the Bay Area, that says a lot!). I find it very interesting that they also included only local ads during their pre-screen time, which is very unusual for most theaters I have been to, but a fantastic way of supporting the local community. Parking is ample and there are 6-7 rows of ticket purchasing inside the hall.

I had a chance to go finally and enjoyed it. I only got to go to a standard showing not the high definition or ultimate digital showing as they call it. The floorplan and layout of the theater was different that century and UA and so was the purchasing counter like said above. I liked it.
