First post.. Hello from NY....

I lived in Sac for over 30 years and always wanted to move to New York, so one day I had the chance and moved away... Now 2 years here in NY "Long Island" and I have to tell you... If I had the chance to move back I would in a sec... It's so boring here....

I got out of Sac about 4 years ago, I spent 3 years there, it would take a lot to get me to consider moving back there, maybe if i was elected Gov. I plan on moving out of Ca to someplace that is more rural. Ca is nice, but too expensive for me. I need more space too, everywhere is expanding here and we are slowly being left with less and less open space to recreate in!

vits_feds: Enough with the "white flight" stuff already! You posted on it in three threads. If you're really afraid for the future of your race, then go ahead and move to Idaho and fly hakenkreuzen or something.

I dream of the day I can finally leave this awful place! Unfortunately, I have to wait until my husband retires and he is only 28! Oh, well.. Good luck to everyone who can do it!

A lot can change in almost 40 years, until he can receive social security. Sacramento, and whereever you want to go, will be vastly different than they are today.

Good luck to all who have the opportunity to leave this dump. My fiance and I have both been unemployed for the last 4 mos, desperately looking for work, and living off of my student loans since unemployment is a joke. As soon as Im done school, you can bet your ass we'll be gone!

i live in sutter creek and am looking to move away from here. it's a great place to come as a tourist, but don't move here if you don't like racism! my husband is from south america and i am white, and the racism we have experienced here is insane! i love the beauty of the area, but just can't wait to move to someplace more diverse!

That's so sad that it even exists in California, you should head to the Bay Area if you can or Marin.

Whatever you do, don't move to orange county it will be worse.
