Wow, that's pretty rude...California is soooo diverse, 90% of the folks there or more are fine people, working hard, trying to raise a family...The other 10% are so far gone it won't matter where they end up.

Please don't lump all of California into the same box. There are a LOT worse places than being in California...

I was watching a show on truTV about some Russian gangs and their criminal activities in the LA area. I kept thinking to myself, who let these people into our country?

How many other people think a big source of California's demise the last few decades is the huge influx of immigrants (both legal immigrants and illegal aliens)?

Well i think that idea of only criminals being indecent people is very laughable . What about people who are soo judgemental and materialistic like the valley girls . I do not consider them good people in the least lol . Or what about some lawyers and business men and ceo 's who are border line criminals and cut there fellows throats with no morals exept too get ahead is this very indecent ? Or what about people who go around with their nose in the air passively agressivley trying too destroy peoples lives? But never commit a crime . OR what about the jack off who cuts you off and than beeps at you and flips you off for no reason? Or the person who pushes you out of line in the super market? Or what about people who are gold diggers who try and take advantage of people . But never commit crimes?

I would have too say the amount of indecent people in every place in the world is much higher than 10 percent .


I find it funny how we speak freely and very in depth about white gangs such as russians and italians . Yet hispanic and black gangs the media stays away from cause usually it is taken as racist .

I am polish , I find Eastern europeans too be fairly peaciful people . With gangs that are indiscrete highly organized profitable and generally do not go around targeting random acts of crime just out of anger and hate like street gangs do .

The russian immigrant wave too america is small compared too that of other groups
I also find russians are highly educated and intelligent and work hard . Soo what people are not suppose too be let in ?

Back to the topic at hand, I should have clarified this in my previous post:

My theory is that one reason Californians are leaving because they are being pushed out by an influx of immigrants from other countries (I don't think they are transplants from other states moving to California). This is all my HMO - I have not bothered to read all the previous 25 pages of this thread, and am commenting on what I hear from my friends and family still living in southern california and ex-californians that have left the state.

I totally agree with you! Criminals are much worse . But some places in american have very few criminals , major attitudes and people who are rude and agressive mean and unfriendly . This is undesirable too . Living near ct . I will tell you . Some areas like greenwich are breeding ground for miserable people who are rude and just try and destroy other peoplea lives and judge them and put them down to make them selves feel better .

I agree the border control enforcement and immigration laws need too be bumped up .
But since nafta and the clinton administration and the bush administration now , have been allowing illegal immigration too become out of control . The government officials are not cracking down enough of the borders - the immigration issues . As well as people who hire illegals . The past two presidents have not only let illegal immigration happen . They also seem too support it !

Between tax problems , Schools and hospitals going under . Criminals under ground . And a disease epidemic that can spread through under checked illegal immigration .

All of these problems are problems we need too seriously look at .


I tend too think that criminals tend too fake their back grounds entering anyways .
Fake ids , Fake backgrounds stated .
Many of them do not have too always even have past records though most do .

I think they do check their backgrounds but checking some ones back ground , that changes their back ground is not easy .

How easy it is for criminal behavoir amoungst illegal immigrants is probably the biggest argument for legalization and becoming strict on immigration .


But anyways i live in the north east . I live in new york but only a few miles from ct .
I personally find people in many areas of the north east especially ct and new jersey . Much worse than people from california .


But back too the whole expensive house debate . IS a house in sacramento that is triple the price of most places in america worth the price of living in california .

Even if you can afford it , Many people are living on the edge and can fall and can crash and burn at any moment . They are struggling too get what they have living in places such ascalifornia .

Although certain areas might have amazing reasons too stay . A struggle is still a struggle . Any struggle too try and pay for a house you really can not afford is never a fun time .

I am considering moving too california . But i am considering cheaper rural areas .


I agree some people are competing with immigrants for jobs . They are making it soo working class people have trouble living in a decent neighborhood .
Some people hate too see what is going on . Of course enough people will leave for these reasons .

But with california having house prices and rents more than double of most places in america . This is a major push . Even if california has higher wages than many states . The high price of living seems too be enough for the middle and lower class too leave here . People working at and a few dollars above minimal wage in california will live much better in a state with very cheap housing .

It seems the middle class is losing the ability too afford too live in california . The lower class are losing their jobs too the immigrants .
The upper class are the ones who still have good jobs and still can afford too live in california . Most of them already own houses soo a high housing market actual means more wealth for them in their eyes .

It seems california is losing a tremendous amount of its middle class .

one thing's for sure, california would not be so crowded! foreign immigrants have made up the majority of the pop increase in recent years. that and their dependence on the vast social safety net and services has added to calif's misery.

I have no idea how to respond to all of this except to say California is not the only place with low lifes, dishonest people, murderers, con people, immigrants, legal and illegal.

I doubt that California alone is responsible for the demise of the real estate market...we are in southern Utah, same crap here....things here went way overboard a few years ago with home prices, now those selling, including us, are the ones who are paying for that...

I can't wait to get back to California and get on with my life. I AM a California girl and will defend California until the day I die. Try living somewhere else after you have lived in CA your whole life and see if you don't agree with me..

IF you are refering too my post talking about high real estate. One i do not live in california . I live in upstate new york .

The Liberal And Republican ways of Thinking both are dumb! At least liberals have hearts . The liberterian party is the smart one . The usual idea of having religion and war being the center of the government of republicans . Is totally dumb!

I agree we should have low taxes . We do not need services and bs that most people want . But when 50 cents of every dollar goes too our taxes go too pay for republican wars . Republicans seem too be talking out their asses . Do you want too spend tax dollars on a war against gay marriage or against abortion . Tax dollars are tax dollars and soo many tax dollars were spent on the " Republican " Type of war on drugs . Do you like it when the government uses our tax dollars and pays for adds to run against drugs or against abortion .
The dumbest thing is when republicans want more brutal enforement against crimes . But yet soo many tax dollars go for fund prisons! We have 4 times more prisoners in america than china has when china has 4 times more people . We could save alot of tax dollars if we made drugs legal!
If we made drugs legal you could have the governments having 80 percent tax charges on drugs! You would have half of the prison population now would not be imprisoned saving us lots of tax dollars .

Everytime we go too war we need too spend more tax dollars on gas for the vechicals . More on bombs ,more on weapons , More too feed the troops over seas . Than we have too hire many more soldiers and give them a higher wage which comes out of our tax dollars than the government tax dollars pays for their college .Than when soldiers get wounded you have too pay more for the veterns hospitals , The vetern hospitals are already under funded and do no work as good as they should ! My uncle got wounded in vietnam and he got almost nothing out of vetern hospitals .What about when these veterns lose limbs and can no longer work! You guessed it your taxes pay for their welfare and food stamps as well as too support the homeless shelters .

Now on the other hand when the troops defend america at home in u.s miltary bases it is significantly cheaper , Which means you guessed it Less taxes needed too be spent !

It is understandable that republicans do not want too pay high taxes . No one does . But when you have ideas that don't save taxes etheir . Such as war and prisons and wars against drugs . You are spending just as much money as liberals .

This is why most republicans are hypocrits , ignorant , And talk out of their asses .

When republicans are in office we always go in debt! We always go into recessions and lose out in the economy .

If republicans are soo good with the economy why did we have a surplus with clinton . Now we have one of the biggest debts of all time . Why did we have of the best economies under clinton . Yet now we have a recession and one of the biggest amount of inflation we have had in many years .
The wars cost more than services and socialised medicine and welfare and other things ever could cost .

I am pro conservative . I am anti republican . Especially neo cons . Who are practically facists .

The reason for outrageous real estate is based because some people are willing too pay for it . With california having an abundance of jobs . A desirable way of life . A high Culture . Low crime .A very large diverisity , where everyone can find a place they are at home . And some of the best jobs in the country . With a beautiful state with beautiful places and lots of entertainment .

These are the reasons the real estate is high . But i personally do not think the real estate is worth the benefits anymore .


But at the same time people in places in the south do not understand that places like new york city need alot of money too even function . Other wise it would totally colapse .
