I'm going to be relocating from Michigan to Sacramento within the next month and have never even visited the city. My husband has been working at a great job since February and the job has been made permanant. I am an unemployed Paralegal/Legal Admin and was wondering how the job market really is for that field or any administrative field out in Sacramento. I know California has been pretty bad with unemployment as michigan has and would like some advice on the employment scene and how the health care is. Thank you for any advice anyone can provide.

The local job market is not good but if you're persistant you will find something. Sacto has 1 million + people, you will get hired eventually.

I agree with Aquaboy. You will eventually find a job. The UC Davis Health System currently has 3 Administrative Assistant positions open in Sacramento, but there is a lot of competition for jobs. Benefits are great there, so it would be worthwhile applying.

I agree with the above posters. You work in a good field for this town, and will find something if you are persistent. PM me if I can offer you more specific advice as about a legal job or a place to live.
