Sacramento could use something like the "ring roads" common in other cities. Right now its like spokes with no wheel.

Yup, then again we are talking about Sacramento. Majin does have a point. To get to various points of town using the current highways its like going in a big circle. Something that could be a 15 minute trip turns into 35 minutes.

I don't know why crossing the american river has to be so difficult, but the lack of a N S bound connectore is ridiculous.

Almost as difficult is crossing the railroad tracks in the Roseville area.... Miss one road, and you end up going 10 miles up and back to find the next place to cross....
