Like I said, I'm just a bit surprised. I'm from the LA area and I actually love Sacramento. Out of all my visits to Sac, I've never had any problems and I have never seen any of the thugs that you would see in LA and the Bay.

I agree. When I lived over there 20 years ago, I never really felt safe, like I was always looking over my shoulder. Even in the "nicer" suburban areas like Roseville and Rocklin. Being neighbors with Eric Leonard AKA The "Thrill Killer" certainly didn't help!
