Default Dixon Area

My family and I lived in Dixon about 12 years ago. I absolutely loved it there and hated to move. I am just curious about the city and it's changes over the years (population, businesses, churches, schools, government, etc.). Anyone care to share any new info?

We have lived in Dixon for 7 years and it has grown in leaps and bounds (even though the city council fights it everyway they can.). There is a very nice new high school (just opened), a super Walmart as well as most any other convienence you want (except we still need a cinema). If it's not in Dixon it's within an easy 10 minutes. To bad the drive to San Fran sucks so bad. Housing prices are still reasonable .. well for this area of Ca that is.

You are very fortunate to be living there. I really miss it. We had to relocate to so cal when Mare Island closed down. Oh well, maybe we'll be back where we belong in a few years!

They have added more shopping places, a new 24 hour Wal-Mart was put in a few years ago as well as more houses but it still seems like the same place that its always been for the most part, I am from Vacaville which has changed a lot more, in my opinion as its probably doubled in size since I first moved there as a little kid.
