I'm looking for a really nice day spa within an hour's drive of Sacramento. This will be a gift to my wife for Christmas; we are new parents and it has been wonderful but stressful. My wife needs a break!
I'm looking for a place that not only offers massages/facials/pedicures, but also has full facilities with hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, showers, etc. I want to be able to send her away for the entire day, so places to relax and read are a must.
I have seen many places in Sacramento that have massages and salon services, but I haven't seen any that have the full facilities where one would want to hang out for an entire day. I'm imagining this as like a day-long pampered vacation. Please help me! I want to send my wife somewhere she will love!
