Wow - I had to look that up

You are in the new developments in WEST sacramento - so tell people that

West Sac has been getting better - but I wouldn't say it's swanky - it used to be old and quite beat up, but it has gotten better.

Yep. This is the new part of West Sac. It is a very normal newer suburb. Part of the town is very new and part of it is older. Yes, the older part has its troubles. I haven't seen any evidence of it coming to the newer part of town (I've lived here for 4 years). We have a nice grocery store called The Nugget. We have a new Target and IKEA. They are building a new Lowes and Home Depot. Otherwise the town does not have much shopping and little "fine" dining. You'll have to go in to downtown Sac for that. The good news is that it is no more than 10 min away and as short as 5 min depending on where you live.
