Smile How safe is this area near Natomas?

Hi guys,

I'm going to be staying in Sacramento short term housing for a while before my move to SF.

Do you guys know how safe this area is around this address:

3825 Rosin Ct. Sacramento, CA 95834

I have heard that Natomas can be hit or miss.

Thanks!

This doesn't appear to be in or near a residential area. There's a bunch of hotels, fast food places and various companies, all right off the freeway.

It seems like it would be pretty safe.

That address is for the Extended Stay America - Northgate.

Northgate Ave is the main drag in front of the hotel, Norwood Ave is to the east, I-80 is just to the north...

IMO, that side of Northgate is total slum (I used to drive it every day to & from work when I first moved to Sacramento 6 years ago, I'm sure it has gotten worse since the economy plunged)...you know those videos that majin posts concerning south sac, well this is "north" south sac.

The immediate surrounding streets are industrial/business park, with lots of vacant spaces. On the otherside of I-80 is Fry's, and more industrial/business park.

Is it safe? It depends.... Are you a single female? Do you have streets smarts? Will you have valuables visible in your vehicle?

Ugh...I'd better not then. Thanks!

The extended stay in Roseville is in a much better area. Not the greatest part of Roseville, but a much better area than that area.
