Is $1500 to $2000 doable for a rental , preferably walking distance to downtown?

Thanks,

Folsom doesn't really have a "downtown" as such--do you mean Old Folsom (Sutter Street etc.), or the big shopping center areas along East Bidwell?

$1500-2000 a month should be more than enough for an apartment pretty much anywhere in town.

There's not a lot of apartments near Sutter St, but there are lots of duplexes and homes in the historic district.

If you're looking for apartments, I think the closest & within walking distance is Folsom Ranch, and Sutter's Cottage.

And you will have more than enough for a apartment or duplex. Homes are more, usually starting at $1600 & on up.

Old Folsom is Downtown Folsom.
