People like to hate placer because it has better schools, lower crime, lower % of government workers, better scenery and nature, better outdoor activities, and better shopping than Sacramento. You see this everywhere. People in SF hate Marin. People in LA hate on the OC. People in Chicago hate on the collar counties. People love to hate those who are more well off than they.

I always laugh when some one from Sacramento county tries to call Placer cookie cutter. Sorry but Sacramento pretty much invented cookie cutter. And places like like Auburn, Wiemar, and New Castle have more character and scenery than just about anything found in Sac.

Hating on Placer county might give you gratification, but it is never going to give you accountability, tansparency, or stability in your local government. And for that those of us who live outside Sacramento county are thankful, that is for sure.

Please don't try to compare Placer County to Orange County. They're not even remotely similar.

I don't think anyone offered a comparison, only an analogy.

I think if Christ were alive today, he would sue every church for misrepresentation.

Granite Bay is borderd by a large body of water.

South placer county has higher elevations than anything found in Sac.

Keep reaching, you might grow an inch or two...though I am not sure I would take "character" and "cultural" pointers from someone who lived @ Globe Mills

Rancho Murieta is more Conservative than not, but really the entire region is pretty diverse IMO.

I don't think so. That was not his mission -- sueing for misrepresentation. If you should care to find out how he handled "error in the church" it's already documented in the Bible.
