I used to live there when i was young, have a lot of memories there, back when i went to elementary school. I lived around Cintenella drive, how's that area? I don't ever remember there being problems. What are the house prices like?

Prices are still on the lower end depending on the condition/situation of home. Foreclosure, trashed or not. Same for long term with improvements, short term if buried in it... There are still some smaller track homes around. Some have been renovated with expansion. Centinella area is mostly rentals in the $80-90K range, and might be skecthier than you grew up...

It's not as bad as other parts of Greater Sacto, but you could do better. Try Antelope to the north, or Foothill Farms to the east.

North Highlands is okay, depending on your life style, I personally would not move into that area only because I have been living in Antelope for the past 12 years. I guess you can make your house a home anywhere.
