Way to go Kevin Johnson!!!!!!!!!

Major step towards a final decision, this clearly makes it very likely the Kings stay and they build the downtown arena:

An NBA owners' committee studying the future of the Sacramento Kings has unanimously recommended the team not be moved to Seattle and be kept in Sacramento.

So now that "he did it," is he going to do anything substantive for the vast majority of Sacramento denizens who couldn't care less about a freaking sports franchise?

If that's Sacto's only "brand," that's pathetic.

Maybe I missed the part where the Maloofs have agreed to sell to the whale-pod. When did that happen?

The team isn't moving, if the Maloofs want to turn down the Sacramento offer, I guess they can continue to own the team right here.

But it isn't moving.
