All of those are 25816
Remember the school Midtown feeds to is on F st - and it's CRAP_OLA!!! I moved to Seattle once my child started school. I wish I would move back to Sac, but the schools up here are nicer. Sorry

Just a friendly correction: I beleive the zip codes around downtown are 95814, 95816, etc.

Yes if you saw my earlier post - I made mention that 95816 was better then 95814 (which is more downtown-ish) And the majority (not all, but definately the best parts) of midtown are in 95816

Hi, I am renting at Villages of the Galleria next door to Venu, and pay only 1180 for a two bedroom beautiful apartment, and I did receive a month free with a 12 month lease, and so that makes it about 1K, so yes 1800 at Venu, is way too much, you can rent a very nice single family home for much less, 1500, check out Craigslist! If you need help PM me!

Umm. Another correction, midtown spans large parts of both 95814 and
95816.
Also you previously wrote:

Which is not entirely correct. It's best to call the Sacramento Unified School district
with the street you intend to live on and they'll tell you definitely what school
your child will go to.

It's important to note that Sacramento has open enrollment for its school. While that doesn't guarantee you can get into Crocker-Riverside, it does mean that you don't have to go to the crap school that you might be poised to attend. My friend's son should have attended Bret Harte, which isn't a very good school. Last year he went to kindergarten in Hollywood Park and this year is attending Phoebe Hearst, one of the top school. All depends of if you want to take the risk.

If your in the area, walk through the suburb. I'm not sure why people make
these blanket Bad, Great assertion about entire areas. Most areas
fall somewhere in between.
I investigated Rosemont throughly since I want to buy a house.
Crime rate is higher than Lands Park, but less than East-Sac (go to Sac
Police web site and you get generate reports per 3 month period).
Mostly car break ins that every inner city area has. Just park your
car in your garage.
Why I didn't buy there was even though it is solid middle class it lacks
character. Wide streets with no trees, nice bigger homes, but
1970's ish.
Check school boundaries, schools are in the middle (rated about 5-6).

alright, this has got to be my last question about a certain area!!
I want to be close to East Sac, but i have given up looking around there. So, how is the area off of fair oaks blvd and cross street Fulton. I know going north towards El Camino could be ghetto, but i will stay no where near there, just maybe Arden Way if anything. So, Thanks AGAIN!
