Sacramento? Or down here? Sacramento is almost never humid. San Diego has not been humid at all this year, and only a day or two last year. But it can be some years. Watching fireworks last night was actually cool and breezy. Looks like water temps are back down to low 60s, so the air doesn't hold much humidity yet. Also keeps the nights refreshing. It was 59f at 10 pm at my house, rather cool for July, and we haven't had a single evening yet that's been warm enough to stay in shorts past 7 pm or so. No complaints though.

59f at 10 pm? Holy smokes, I envy you! Where I am, it's still in the low 80s/upper 70s at that time.

We just had family visit us for a week from NC, and they couldn't get over putting on a sweatshirt at night or being able to open the windows at night for fresh air. Some loved it, while others didn't. I think it's a real blessing.

We did have one warm night on Monday night following a one day heatwave, but even then, much of the coast remains socked in, which is very unusual for July.

You have no idea what humid is. I was in the Midwest (Chicago) among other places and at 85F in the shade we were sweating like pigs and it felt like 105-110F. It was suffocating. The nights were horrible, always 10 degrees or more hotter than Sacramento.

I love the midwest because they don't complain over the slightest change in the weather. The weather changes constantly in the midwest from one "extreme" to the other "extreme" and they don't care; it's simply the "weather" and weather changes. It's HOT, uncomfortably Hot in the Summer and it's Cold, uncomfortable Cold in the Winter, you dress appropriately and don't cry about.

Cmpared to the midwest, south and east. Sacramento weather is very mild all year long.

Sacramento resident here. I hate 59f at 10pm. Love the warm nights in New Orleans! Trust me, chilly summer nights are not all that great!

As far as summer is concerned, false! Went to Toronto late June during their "heat wave" and it was nothing compared to a typical Sacramento summer day.
