Great Post!

This would be great time to do your magic with the Maps charting the Delta Breeze and compare it to Fresno.

The Central Valley is too close to the coast and suffers by comparison. I've lived in the Midwest and Fresno is heaven compared to it during the summer. I'll take hot and dry any day over steam bath humidity and bugs. Fresno isn't even that hot relatively speaking (compare it to the SW or Texas). Standing on their own the Sacramento or San Joaquin Valleys would be held up as nice climates. Park them 75 miles from the coast of California and they get hit with being unbearable/horrible/sweltering.

This is an example of the Delta Breeze at Work in Sacramento, notice how cool it is in Sacramento and how the temps are in line with Bay Area temps, while Fresno is 24 degrees hotter than Sacramento in August.

Both Sacramento and Fresno are in the Central Valley, but Sacramento is in a part of the Sacramento Valley that has a micro-climate that receives the kind of cooling the SF Bay area receives.

Sacramento City - 10

Just want to add Sacramento City to your list, since your stats are always specifically from Sacramento Executive Airport which is in a cooler micro-climate due to it's more direct proximity to the delta breeze.

Even doubling the number of July 100+ days from 5 to 10 still proves your point. I just like to show the bigger picture rather than focusing on just one specific location.

Thats fine, but what is your source?

I use weather.com and I have no idea which weather stations they use. If you look at all the other cities across the nation, you don't know if the weather station they use is the warmest or coolest location within their metros.

It wouldn't be fair or accurate to use different sources for different cities, and I started with weather.com, so I'm sticking with it for all cities.
