You should have drove down to Fresno last nite for a food run, chim. Great Al fresco dining opportunity missed.
Oakhurst is pretty, but lacks amenities. Enjoy your trip, chim. Safe travels

WTF does it get so darn windy here in Sacramento? We had wacky weather too for spring first was hot then like cold windy winter with thunderstorms at least where I live.

California has been under a weird pattern recently. It's like fifteen degrees below average, cloudier, windier, etc. It'll settle down. The unpredictability of spring. Even here in my San Diego suburb, we're at 46f this morning. That's not normal for mid May! It'll all be over in a couple more days.

Yep, it snowed in Yosemite last few days, nothing weird about a spring snowfall in the Sierras. Summer is still a whole month and a half away.

8am May10, 2022- Good Morning snowy Half Dome, Glad we had several warm days before this, but it sure is beautiful.

Yosemite Valley - 36F

Sacramento - 48F

Bakersfield - 51F
Barstow - 51F

Palm Springs - 63F - Heading to Palm Springs and Joshua Tree National Park in a few days, highs in the 90's expected.

This is why we live in California right, Mountains, Desert, Ocean, Sacramento summer Pool Parties, can't wait for temps in the 90's in Sacramento.

What's going on with the wind in Orange County feeding those fires? Is it offshore? Is it affecting SD County too?
