I don't mind the heat as long as I can get out of it when I want to. Love the lake days, pool days too much to give it up.

I'm actually looking forward to the heat. Too much mild weather.

So what I'm trying to tease out of y'all is would you like it to be this Cool for the next 3 months. Do you consider this "summer" weather?.... because this what the coast/bay area thinks summer weather "should" be like.

Some people are complaining it's too cool/cold, it's too windy, oh my, it was cloudy most of the day. This is what it's like in SF and much of the coast all summer long. (Today should be a little warmer than it has been for the last few weeks up to the mid-upper 70's.)

Nope. I want the Bay Areans to cry about how hot it is, while I sit in the shade with a tall iced tea and watch my tomatoes grow huge and delicious.

Daughter home from college painting out on the back veranda, mom tending to her tomatoes in the garden, last daughter in high school playing with the lab on the lawn, me typing on the iPad in the breeze enjoying a Bohemia waiting for the Montreal seasoned Harris Ranch beef black angus tri tips to come up to room temp before tossing on the grill. Listening to the UOP campus Burns tower bells marking the hours.

Yeah This area sucks.

So if it never got above 70F for the next 3 months that would be ok, like San Francisco weather?

Or would you really miss a month or two of 80 and 90 temps?

It's too cool to go swimming in the rivers, lakes, pools, right?

I'm ready for some 80s and 90s temps.

I can do without 100+ though.

I like to grow heat loving palms, and they are not enjoying this at all. Mornings have been low clouds and cold, giving away to clear skies in the upper 60s and low 70s, typical SF weather.

Right now the winds are pretty much none and still mild as a result. So finally a change is happening and I'm ready for it.

Predicting summer weather is pretty easy in Sacramento, and you don't need to even watch the forecast. Just go out at dusk and if the cool ocean air is flowing in the next day will be cool, if there is no air movement it's going to be hot.
