some locals that live in South Sac call it their "Chinatown" even though the signs say Little Saigon

I guess the area on Mack Rd near Seafood City is the Little Manila, since mostly Filipinos & Pacific Islanders shop there?

You'd consider the food more Vietnamese down there huh? King Palace to me seemed 100% Chinese and then theres another place down there too with a large tall roof. I forget the name. For the area I'd say some of the best food is down there though.

KING PALACE is the best Chinese restaurant & tea house in the area, your right it's 100% Chinese

I agree, some of the best food is in that area, the best Banh Mi sandwich shop is the one a the SF shopping center called the Huong Long sandwich, it's always very busy

a lot of the business's are Vietnamese or run by ethnic Chinese from Southeast Asia

I never saw a Vietnamese Dim Sum restaurant? most are 100% Chinese run, another good Chinese place is the one on Broadway that specializes in seafood, called the Fortune House seafood restaurant 2111 Broadway, this is where the old school Chinese go to eat.

correction: the best Banh Mi sandwich shop is Huong Lan Sandwich 6930 65th st [not Huong Long]

the King Palace does have a tall red tile roof? thats the only Chinese restaurant like that on Stockton Blvd

I have been going to Asian Pearl 2009, but I'm always looking for other good Dim Sum alternatives. Looking forward to the answers to your question.

My preference is Tea Cup on 21st and Q (at least since Capitol Tea Garden closed) but have heard good things about the Dim Sum House on Broadway and 26th, and New Canton on Broadway and 25th.

Thanks .. I read the yelp reviews before posting last night. Both of you mentioned the ones that sounded as a must try.
