How is the drinking water in Sacramento?

I'm used to filtered, RO, or Big Berkey water. When I first moved here, I lived in East Sac. The tap water tasted like dirt. It's an older neighborhood, so perhaps the pipes were old & leaky. IDK. My ex-roomie insisted on buying water at WF, the co-op, or where ever you could get the 5 gallon jugs filled. Water delivery was too expensive. Thank goodness when I moved out to Folsom, I was able to switch back to the BB. I'm not to thrilled about the water up here in Folsom or EDH hills. I pretty much carry filtered water with me everywhere. Although, I would certainly take the water in Sacramento over the water in Hanford any day.
