Well I lived literally at 30th and T for a while and now I live a few blocks further down on T. I went out the back gate to the Co-op parking lot which was great to get snacks at. The area is overall safe, but if you leave stuff out it could stolen pretty quick, due to being so close to many major roads like Alhambra plus the freeways. Bums don't really hang out but all kinds of people are constantly walking through. Overall the Alhambra Triangle is like an extension of Midtown, cool people and houses, less family oriented than near by Elmhurst. T street has great bike lanes and you would be at the Med Center in 5 mins on a bike or no more than a 15 min walk. Much safer and nicer than Oak park which is to the south.

I lived at the other end of the Alhambra Triangle, 34th and T, up until a couple years ago. Leaving stuff out will result in its being taken, but it's generally pretty safe, close to transit, handy for the Co-Op and Safeway, a lot of Med Center employees live there. As Mr. Ozo says, it is basically an extension of Midtown with just a dash of Oak Park. Lots of freeway noise, but you pretty much tune it out. Once they finish the big apartment complex on S Street there should be a lot more people in the neighborhood.

That is one heck of a run-on sentence.

Sacramento just doesn't measure up to the urbanity of west LA. That being said, the metro area it self is rather laid back and affordable.

There are many areas to consider depending on what your needs and criteria are...good schools, neighborhoods, location, price range. take a look at my website www.callirma.com you might find some information useful concerning home prices areas...

That's okay, as long as you don't mind the undead...which is appropriate, considering that Sacramento is the city that introduced the "zombie walk"!
