I've never been itching to get to CA, but he has. I just don't want our bubble to burst when we get there and my family living in poverty. Any advice or suggestion? Anyone?
I'm guessing because of your username that you're a nurse, in which case you should be able to find a decent lifestyle to support a high quality of life just about anywhere. However, be advised that I've heard that there is a nursing freeze in two places-Redding and Sacramento. I wouldn't advise moving to this area (high crime, hot weather, poor economy and low on recreation) but if you have your heart set on it I'd recommend looking into Auburn, Roseville, maybe Citrus Heights, Rocklin, El Dorado and other areas outlying Sacramento. They seem to have the same cost of living and be better communities overall. Best of luck

LOLZ. Sorry I'm just eager to get out of here. The disenchantment has been growing for years now.
