I know that Summer can be brutal, but you've got to love that its in the high 60's and low 70's in mid Feb. This time of year is a great time in my opinion, not too cold and not too warm, plants are coming back to life.

Enjoy!

Um... you realize we're in winter, right? I agree. Sacramento has pretty mild winters.

Ditto! My first spring, eh "winter" here too. I have a little attached green house that got to 87F when it was 68F out today though can't imagine what that'll be like come summer. The sharp difference between day and night takes some getting used to.

It's usually a lot colder and wetter here in February. We're in a drought.

I am not a fan of 70+ in February here. It's the time when I walk outside and 3 Godzilla sneezes force their way out of me. In colder weather nothing is in bloom and my allergies are kept under control. Temp wise it is nice though, although I do prefer more of a winter.

I have a question for long term Sacramentonians ...

Does this warm February spell the end of winter or is there a chance temperatures could revert back to close to freezing?

We should have our equivalent to the groundhog. Not sure what it would be though?
