My wife and I have been living in Lincoln since November of 2012, and we have been searching for a good buffet restaurant for a while but there's nothing close to what we'd call a "good" buffet. The one at Thunder Valley Casino was disappointing (stale and tasteless food with boring selection). I looked at the ones listed on Yelp and they all looked disappointing. Any suggestions (any type of cuisine, as long as the selection of food is varied and tasty)?

A little more than 30 minutes, but Red Hawk is very good and the view is very nice as well.

Do people still like going to buffet's?

I think the only buffet's I could go to would be the one's in Vegas.

If I REALLY felt the need to go to one around here, I agree with the other poster, and would go to Red Hawk Casino. I've been there once and it wasn't bad.

I found Red Hawk to be overpriced and not very good. But I find most buffets to be that way. Too much quantity w little quality.

Are there really any other buffets around here besides those that aren't based on one cuisine though? Hometown? Every time I go to a buffet I end up with a plate full of meat and couple helpings of soft serve.

NO 1 Buffet

Chinese food

Florin Towne Centre, 7090 Stockton Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95823

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
MIZU , Chinese buffet and sushi buffet , they also have roast duck & roast pork

The Promenade, 3636 N Freeway Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95834
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pooja Indian Grill is the best Indian buffet in the Sacramento area but only during certain hours

1223-25 Merkley Ave
West Sacramento, CA

but it would probably take 30 minutes or longer to get there from Lincoln

Golden Corral on Watt ave right off 80. They have a good selection. Unfortunately it can be hit or miss. Most of the time its good though. Definitely better than Hometown.

Redhawk is pretty good for a buffet, nice selection and it's reasonably priced.
