I'm paying about $1600/month for my 2 kids, ages 2 and 5. This is at a licensed daycare/preschool facility (Childtime in Roseville; they have other locations as well).

I'm paying $700/mo for one 18 month old child in in-home daycare. I'm in Rocklin. I called all of the big daycare centers, and can't afford any of them. One place down the street from me is $300 per week per child! Too much! I came back to CA from living in Arizona for several years. The cost of daycare is easily double what it was in AZ. Rip off! Good luck! And by the way, it took me 6 months to find a decent in-home daycare provider. Everyone I called were either booked, or weirdo's with no childcare license. I lucked out and found a nice lady who had 1 opening left. I took it. More people need to start affordable in-home daycare in this area!

I work with my friend in the arden park area and we charge $ 800 for two and over and $1000 for infants. But we provide organic food for the children ans well as home made baby food and diapers. when you are looking know what is important for you to have and ask about family discounts we are full and have been since we started so i know that quality child care is hard to find. most child care centers or in home will charge you between $150.00 to $300.00 a week but some do give discounts good luck !

I am starting a child care business in my home and I am charging 150.00 for any age because I know how tough it is on everyone now a days. If anyone wants to get a hold of me (Esther) I am licensed and my number is 916-419-1135. I can give you my license number over the phone.
