Is it possible to buy a house for less than 100k?
Is it possible to buy a house for less than 100k in Sacramento where you won't get shot? I need a 2bd 1 ba. the funny part is these areas are actually above the flood plain, but the crime stats look awful. Do any of you actually live there?

I wouldn't dare buy a 100K house anywhere in Sac even ifyou didn't tell me where it was!
We are looking at buying and our budget is 450K but all the houses we like are 600K

For that price you'd be lucky if it came with a roof and plumbing.

You can't even buy a decent house in my hometown for $100K, and that's in Iowa.

You won't find a condo for that price at all either
And even a fixerupper will be more - seriously you are looking at the very very botom of the barrel with 100K
