I can't see it either. It's just a red square for me. But I don't have snapfish, or even know what it is. Is that why?

If you are still having problems with Snapfish , try uploading your map on photobucket - that's what I usually use.

Can someone download Citygirl's map and put it on photobucket? It is also just a red square on my end, and I would really like to know where south sac is. Thanks!

Strange that your photos and links have been deleted, I don't see why they'd do that. One easy way to remember it though is that S St. is the beginning of the South, at least in my opinion, as I used to walk the blocks from Front St to 29th and back, just out of boredom. During the day in that part of downtown there's not too much concern though. Land Park (not South Land Park) is really the only exception all the way to Meadowview/Mack Rd and even a bit further. West to East boundaries of South Sacramento are Interstate 5 to Power Inn Rd, at least in my opinion. It will vary depending on who you ask. So, S St. to Mack Rd, and I-5 to Power Inn. Not that it matters so much as there's still other Deep Parts of Hell where they're Dirty Poor and Hungry, like Del Paso Heights for instance, to the North. I've lived in the Sacramento area (mainly in the outer areas) for over 20 years now and if I had the chance I'd live out in the outskirts in the country, and just bicycle into town. There really are areas so country you'd think you were in Wyoming or something yet you can see downtown. I could live in the city too, just wouldn't particularly enjoy it, not any more. Those who prefer being close to downtown might enjoy the southern part of West Sacramento, I think the neighborhood is called Riverton/Bridgeport, or words to that effect.

I highly disagree. S St is midtown and is not South Sac at all

S Street is "Southside," at least west of 21st Street or thereabouts, but it's not South Sacramento by any means.

And yes, North Sacramento/Del Paso Heights has been a rough neighborhood for a long time--it was notorious when Florin Mall was brand spanking new, and when the city of North Sacramento finally threw up its hands and allowed itself to be incorporated into the city of Sacramento.
